Who Are We Simply put, Soul Influence is a group of young people who love to sing. Music has always been the driving force behind Soul Influence. Coming from a continent where music plays an integral part of social life, it was natural for Soul Influence to come together. Toronto is a multicultural city and having the right environment, was the perfect birthplace for a group of this nature. To top that up the different ethnic and cultural background of each member has allowed this group to have a sound only unique to Soul Influence Read the Full Story

What's Happening The production of GIGO (the sophomore album) is finally done and would be available to the public soon. Soul Influence plans to make the music available by the end of December 2011 via iTunes and Amazon. The actual CD will be released in the early part of 2012. What we do Soul Influence is an a cappella ensemble, African in it’s choice of rhythm and beat, Afro-jazz in its musical style, Christian in its conviction and lyrics, service to God and fellow man in it’s focus. Wanna Join Us Soul Influence is more than just a singing group, its a group of young people who have come together with a purpose. Its about making a difference in the community, impacting the lives of the less fortunate, and fighting for those who face different social injustices. It can be felt in the simple melodies which you’ll find yourself humming to long after you’ve heard them. It is comprised of young people from Ghana, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Zambia who headed a call to work for God through the unifying power of music and its ability to transform lives. Against a backdrop of Western Culture, Soul Influence produces a fusion of distinct African spiritual sounds of Zulu, Shona, Ndebele, Bemba, Lingala,Tswana, Tonga, Twi, Taita Nyanja and Swahili origin with contemporary Christian gospel music.
